AMICUS 3000Plus type table tennis robot
Technical description

The AMICUS 3000Plus type table tennis robot of a maximum 50 W power consumption, operated by means of a 23O V (100 or 115 V as per demand) earthed mains connector, can be used continuously.

All the functions of the robot can be adjusted continuously also during play.

The robot has a special patented ball placing device, which makes it possible that even the balls coming one after the other to be shot in a programmed or random way to any point of the table with an arch changing from ball to ball.

The height of the robot head and so the shooting height of the balls can be changed.

2 discs with parallel shaft represent its shooting device. A variable speed motor drives each of them. Due to the shooting discs being of especially light construction and the electronic control system, the robot can shoot balls one after the other following the set program with totally different spin, speed and arch. The two-disc device (contrary to the one-disc one) is suitable to shoot balls in topspin, backspin and spinless mode, too. The shooting head can be turned by +/-45 , enabling side-spin of the balls. The disc has a very long service life; its wearing out is foreseen only after at least 500 service hours, then it can be replaced simply.

The frequency of the ball shooting can be adjusted continuously in a 20 to 100 balls/minute interval, and concerning the quality of the shot balls the electronics changes automatically the frequency of those (“AFC” function).

Summarised the operation and functions of the table tennis robot type AMICUS 3000Plus, those can be listed as follows:

  • Shooting of balls of adjusted strength, spin, frequency and curve;
  • Set of ball positioning combinations along the total length of the table (e.g. 1 forehand, 1 backhand and 2 middle shots, etc. with their continuous repetition);
  • Positioning at random;
  • Micro processing control of ball positioning;
  • Stopping of shooting by means of a remote switch;
  • Ball collecting net, which is easily mountable onto the table;
  • Automatic ball return;
  • The height of the robot head can be adjusted with the help of the telescope stand (tube)
  • LED backward signalling on the operating box;
  • Alternate long/short serving;
  • Automatic elimination of balls getting stuck;
  • 4 backspin, 6 topspin degrees;
  • Microprocessing control and electronical protection of shooting motors;
  • Shooting of 4 different type of topspin/backspin balls alternatively in program or in random way;
  • Programmable control of the arch of the shot balls;
  • Saving the set programs in memories;
  • Cycle function;
  • Point with serving function (the point it is repeated with 2 seconds breaks);
  • AFC (automatic frequency control) function.
